Resumen. Investigar cualitativamente supone conocer, registrar, narrar y difundir la información sobre la expresión sociocultural de los comportamientos y relaciones de los protagonistas del hecho o fenómeno objeto de estudio. En este artículo resumimos los principales rasgos de la misma, y aportamos un modelo de Investigación centrada en el estudio de las “cualidades” de la acción y comunicación social expresadas desde el lenguaje (en su significado conceptual y en el sentido de su discurso), señalando las claves fundamentales del método cualitativo, las fases generales de su proceso de desarrollo, sus principales estrategias y técnicas, y la difusión de conocimiento obtenido a través de los nuevos instrumentos y redes de difusión digital y global

Abstract. To investigate qualitatively involves knowing, recording, narrating and disseminating information about the sociocultural expression of the behaviors and relationships of the protagonists of the event or phenomenon under study. In this article we summarize the main features of the same, and we provide a research model focused on the study of the "qualities" of the action and social communication expressed from the language (in its conceptual meaning and in the sense of its discourse), pointing out the fundamental keys of the qualitative method, the general phases of its development process, its main strategies and techniques, and the diffusion of knowledge obtained through the new instruments and networks of digital and global diffusion
